I've been applying those Windows Update Client Patches, and seen nothing odd. As far as I can tell, it was only issued once, on Oct.Again, there's no indication that the patch has been modified in any way. I wrote about that patch a week ago in my blog post about Windows "snooping" and nagging patches returning. KB is a patch to the Windows Update client for Windows 7. There's no indication that the patch has been modified in any other way.
I also have of late made a list of the hidden updates that appear in the "Windows 7" portion.
